In this blog we bring you our insights from international menswear event Pitti Uomo – how it will impact wedding suit trends for 2020. Read on for the inside track on the latest menswear and tailoring trends for 2020.
Earthy Brown Hues
Pitti Uomo was a sea of earthy hues in every shade of brown. Brown on brown, tonal dressing in herringbone, patterns and checks was everywhere! The trick to incorporating this suit trend into your wedding suit, without looking like a geography teacher, is to add a splash of colour. We’d suggest introducing blue tones into your waistcoat, tie and/or pocket square. It’s a great accent colour for a brown tweed suit especially for a spring/summer wedding.

Houndstooth
Houndstooth pattern was everywhere too – worn as a classic monochrome or as part of a more complex check patterns. As this is such a striking pattern we’d suggest going for a smaller houndstooth when it comes to your wedding suit. A more muted pattern will ensure your wedding suit stands the test of time and will be easier to photograph.
