Ryan & Sarah at Hazel Gap Barn

On October 14th, Ryan and Sarah married at Hazel Gap Barn – a stunning, rustic country wedding venue in Nottinghamshire. Architect, Sarah, had a very clear vision of what she wanted for their autumn wedding. Read on to find out how we brought her vision to life.

Ryan and Sarah initially found us through Google but we were also highly recommended from friends who had previously hired their wedding suits from us. The couple were really impressed with the quality and style of suits we showed them, Sarah commented:

There were so many different options for us to choose from; we initially thought about buying Ryans suit, but the fit and quality of your hire range was so good, we decided not to, especially as he doesnt wear a suit often

The creative part began after they had booked their wedding suits with us. Due to the time of year, Sarah wanted a seasonal look but didn’t want to go for the conventional deep red and berry accents. Instead, she wanted to reflect the long autumn sunsets with a colour palette of copper and burnt orange with contrasting tones of navy and teal.

To recreate Sarah’s vision, we researched our supply sources and bought in new accessories to show them in their personal styling appointment. And, after a lot of fun experimenting with different waistcoats, ties and pocket squares, we found the perfect combination for their wedding!

Ryan wore our Navy Highgrove lounge suit with a classic buff coloured waistcoat. He teamed this with a rich copper paisley tie and pocket square for a warm, autumnal feel. The groomsmen complemented Ryan in a 3-piece navy lounge suit, with the same tie and pocket square.

Sarah commented:

“I was delighted with the look we achieved. You went out of your way to find the right accessories to perfectly complement our theme and the whole process was so much fun.”
